'Mitzy', you were a formidable mother-in-law but always put your family first. You were a font of knowledge and experience from which so many of your extended family benefitted over so many years, as you uttered those familiar words, 'If I were you....' The thing I am most grateful to you for is persuading Jane to ring me on that memorable Sunday morning, which was the start of my wonderful and happy marriage, to your daughter.
